The advanced student continues a systematic study of music from all periods including Baroque, Classic, Romantic, Contemporary. Students also play music of various styles such as Jazz, Rock, Pop, Gospel etc.

Students develop the ability to quickly analyze pieces in terms of harmonic configuration, melodic and rhythmic patterns, and formal design, as part of a logical, intelligent learning process. This leads to a satisfying study where the emphasis is on a good interpretation of the music and the immediate personal pleasure of performance.
